Kristen Geary
Practice Manager

Kristen received her bachelor's degee from Duquesne University.

She joined the staff at FPVC in May 2008 after working in a number of different industries, including organizational consulting, large equipment leasing. and sales and warehousing. 

She enjoys working at FPVC because it is a warm and friendly environment that provides a lot of interesting work and challenges. Working with a great staff and meeting clients and their pets makes everyday a good one.

Anna
Receptionist Supervisor

Anna has over 15 years of experience in the veterinary industry and has worked at FPVC for over nine years. 

What do you like most about working at FPVC: "I love every aspect of my job, from the doctors to our great staff. Mostly, though, I love all of our wonderful patients and their people."

What do you like to do outside of work:  read, play with my dog, watch football, go to concerts, and spend time with friends

Beth
Receptionist 

Beth has worked for FPVC since October 2006. She holds a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in philosophy and business administration.

What do you like most about working at FPVC: "Getting to know the pets and their owners, working with the great doctors and staff of the Five Points Family."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Play with my 8 dogs, 4 cats, and bird. Watch my youngest son march in WVU's marching band (Go 'EERS!)  Debate with my eldest son about books and art. Sing in compline choir @ Heinz Chapel; sing in choir and play handbells @ church; acting; costuming; teach harp and play and sing with my husband in the Celtic duo,  The Derry Aires."

PETS: Milou, Boots, Birdie, Hyacinth, Onslow, Bumpus, Brew, Oscar, Blackie, Percy, Chessie, Darwin, and Aku.
 


Ezzie
Receptionist

Ezzie has an accounting background and a degree in business administration. She began her career at FPVC in April 2008.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "Everything!"

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Spend time with my granddaughter and my family."

Nicole
Receptionist 

Nicole received a bachelors degree in environmental science from Chatham University.  She began her career at FPVC in June 2008.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "The staff is extremely nice and I like being around animals all day."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Read, play video games, scrapbook, knit, play board games, hula hoop, play guitar."

Laurel
Receptionist


Laurel's educational background includes nurses assisting and a medical office certificate. Currently finishing associates degree in business and early childhood development. She has worked at FPVC since October 2007.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "Being able to help clients with their pets. Giving them support and listening to their concerns."

What do you like to do outside of work:  photography, artwork, showing dogs, and travel. Also likes to read and spend time with her dogs and cats.

Tina
Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Tina has worked at FPVC for over ten years.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "Meeting our clients and their pets, especially when they get new puppies and kittens. That's when we make a bond through the years. I also love working with the great vets and co-workers who make the job fun."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Horse back riding, spending time outside with my two boys, gardening, having fires at night, watching stars."

Rhonda
Certified Veterinary Technician

Rhonda graduated from Median School of Allied Health Careers. She has worked at FPVC for over four years in out-patient and as our dental technician.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "The family environment and teamwork attitude."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Relax, read, swim, walk."

PETS: Golden retriever/ collie mix named Bo; Australian sheperd named Roo; a cat named Scooby
 

                                           
Stephanie
Certified Veterinary Technician

Stephanie earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Pittsburgh and then attended Fairmont State College, where she earned her associates degree in veterinary technology.  She has worked at FPVC for over ten years.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "I like the doctors and other technicians. I know that they care about our patients as much as they care about their own animals. And, they are really good at their jobs."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Knit, read, watch TV, play with my kids."

Veterinary Technician

Krissy received her associates degree in veterinary technology from the Vet Tech Institute. Krissy works as our surgery technician.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "Everyone I work with and the compassion we all share for animals. And, as kennel tech, cuddling with my patients."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Spend time with my family and friends (and my animals!) Anything that has to do with the outdoors; watch football (Go Steelers!)"

Certified Veterinary Technician

Emily is a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute and began her career at FPVC in June 2008.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "The friendly environment."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Trail ride, ride 4-wheelers, shop, walk my dogs."

Veterinary Technician

Beth is a graduate of Erie Business Center South and has an associates degree in Business Management and Executive Secretary. She has 11 years experience working in the veterinary field.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "Seeing how therapeutic animals are to people."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Hiking and fishing with my family and pets; teaching my kids about types of animals, reptiles, and nature."

PETS:  A dog named Carson, and two cats named Tess and Remi; tropical fish.

Veterinary Technician

Angelina graduated from the Vet Tech Institute with an associates degree in veterinary technology. She joined the staff of Five Points Vet Clinic in March 2009.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "I really like the friendly atmosphere."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Go to the park, take walks with my son, fish, play baseball."

Kennel Assistant

Megan received her bachelor's degree in veterinary technology from Wilson College.  She has worked at FPVC since 2006.

What do you like most about working at FPVC:  "I am a part of an excellent team that I love working with that helps people and animals at the same time."

What do you like to do outside of work:  "Curl up my cat, read a book, take a nap, watch a good movie/ tv show, go to concerts that my parents play in during the summer, ring handbells at my church."

Milo
Clinic Cat

Milo never went to school. His parents couldn't afford it. However, he is extremely intelligent and is self-taught in a number of arts, including martial and watercolors.

What do you like most about living at FPVC:  "I don't have to do anything. Everyone just waits on me. It's my world and the staff are my minions."

What do you like to do outside of the clinic:  "I don't ever leave the clinic. However, I like to lay around the kennel and the front desk. I don't like to brag, but I am a bit of a travel magazine afficianado. Drinking out of the toilets is fun, but it usually gets me into trouble. 

TOYS: I like to swat at pens.
