Meet Our Doctors

  • Dr.
    Richard L. Bell,
    DVM

    Dr. Bell received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. He then went to Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Before moving to Pittsburgh, Dr. Bell practiced large animal medicine. Before buying Five Points Veterinary Clinic in 1997, Dr. Bell owned and practiced at Castle Shannon Veterinary Hospital. His practice philosophy is based on high professional standards and a long lasting love for animals and people.

    Robert Boswell,
    DVM

    Dr. Boswell graduated from Ohio State University in 1985. While he has only been at FPVC for four years, Dr. Boswell has over 23 years of experience. Dr. Boswell likes working at our clinic because he respects his fellow doctors, as well as the rest of the support staff. At our clinic, we have a well-equipped surgical room that allows Dr. Boswell to perform complex and challenging orthepedic procedures, which he enjoys.

    James Schulz,
    DVM

    Dr. Schulz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture/ dairy science from Ohio State University, where he later attended veterinary school. The fun staff makes FPVC a great place to work, according to Dr. Schulz. He has worked here for over 10 years, but has over 23 years of experience.

    Lewis Faulkner,
    DVM

    Dr. Faulkner received his associates degree in veterinary science at New York State University and his bachelor's degree in animal science from Cornell University, where he later attended Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine. He also holds a master's degree from Texas A&I in nutrition and physiology. His career at FPVC began over five years ago, but Dr. Faulkner has over 25 years experience as a veterinarian. The staff and clients make Dr. Faulkner enjoy working at FPVC the most. During his time off, Dr. Faulkner likes to hunt, fish, ski, camp, and scuba dive. PET: a lab/ setter mix named Pip

    Levi Cerminara,
    DVM

    Dr. Cerminara grew up in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. He received his bachelor of science in Animal Nutritional Sciences at West Virginia University and graduated with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Before graduating with a DVM, Dr. Levi spent time working at Five Points Veterinary Clinic as a technician and then as a veterinary extern. In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, fishing, and being with his beloved wife, Kaylea.
